Torquay Surf Beach
Kick off your Great Ocean Road experience at Torquay Surf Beach, where Australia’s surfing culture began. Stroll along the sand, breathe in the salty air and take some snaps of this picturesque coastline.

Memorial Arch
Stop at Memorial Arch at Eastern View. This Arch was built by First World War returned servicemen to honour their fallen comrades and all those who built the Great Ocean Road. It is also one of the most photographed spots on the Great Ocean Road so make sure you snap a pic under the arch too.

Lorne Pier
Head to the coastal town of Lorne for a stroll down the town pier. Spend time looking out over the ocean and seeing fishermen, birds and action at the water's edge.

Lunch in Apollo Bay

You have about an hour of free time in Apollo Bay for lunch, paid for by yourself. There are several cafes/restaurants in Apollo Bay, or you can browse the town's shops or walk along the beach.

Head into the Otway Ranges after lunch for your chance to view wild koalas in the trees. Scan the treetops to spot these much-loved Aussie natives in their natural habitat.

Kangaroos in the Wild
Drive on to Princetown Recreation Reserve where kangaroos can commonly be seen feeding in the open grasslands. Respect their space and enjoy viewing these Australian icons at close range.

End your day at the iconic Twelve Apostles. One of the Great Ocean Road's most visited natural wonders, take a walk along the viewing platforms and marvel at the majestic limestone stacks, breathtaking cliffs and vistas across the Southern Ocean.
